Purim calls for solidarity

The Purim story might be almost 2,500 years old, but its themes are still so relevant today. Throughout the festival, we learn how Haman – the Chief Minister – works to turn a Persian king against the Jewish minority, exploiting fears of difference and the other.

The parallels with modern conspiracy theories are striking. This Purim, we are urging Jewish communities to continue to stand in solidarity with other minorities, and to call out conspiracies and racism targeting them – wherever these are found.

Wishing all of our supporters and followers celebrating Chag Purim Sameach: a very happy Purim.
